Do you think foreign adoption should be allowed at all? I think if possible at all these kids should instead be kept in Korea and taught good Korean culture, even if it means growing up in an orphanage or even just being aborted. The more negative stories you can get out there of Koreans who were adopted and then had a negative experience the better. And of course the Koreans who stay in Korea and are never adopted by anyone and grow up with either a very unstable family situation or with no parents at all are totally ignored ^_^

Thanks for reading and commenting, Sarah. I did not see that NPR blog post. Oy. Thanks for sharing and for your thoughts on it via your blog. It will be interesting to see how many more media channels pick this up.

Hi Kari, have you seen this? http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2009/11/adopted_kids_are_happy_healthy.html

According to NPR, most adoptees are happy and healthy. Guess who they surveyed? Adoptive parents. Looks like adoptees' stories are once again filtered through the APs.
