What did you like best about your hometown? It was very quiet and peaceful.
Describe your current occupation: I am the founder and designer of my own designer tie line, Rachel Park Designs. I design ties for men and women, plus custom ties for weddings.
Tell us about the last time you had to ask for help. The grocery store—I can never reach the top shelf.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? I went skydiving on my birthday. Since it was my birthday, they let me sit up front by the pilot, but since I was so short, I couldn’t see over the dashboard. It’s amazing, though—I highly recommend it! You feel like you can do pretty much anything after jumping out of a plane.
What is the most important thing in your life? My boyfriend and my pug.
If you had one song to play at your wedding, what would it be? “Let’s Get This Party Started”
What’s more important to you…the ride or the destination? Why? Definitely the ride—that’s where you learn and grow the most.
What is your favorite way to express yourself and why? Cooking because it is done with love.
What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? His tie.
Would you rather be rich, or famous? Why? Rich because I like anonymity.
If you could donate 1 million dollars to any charity of your choice, which charity would you pick? God’s Love We Deliver.
If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? It’s boring, but black. It’s always stylish and in season.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you take with you? My MacBook, my iPhone, and a hope there is electricity…and wi-fi.
What is your biggest pet peeve? Arrogance.
If you could spend 30 minutes with any living Korean, who would it be and why? Ken Jeong from The Hangover, so I could laugh. I know he’d bring the funny.
What is your best trait? Loyal.
What is your worst trait? Impatience.
What are your favorite hobbies? I am a huge news junkie, avid techie, and a foodie. I also love watching movies and reading, usually on my iPhone.
What is your favorite Korean food? Radish kimchi.

Something interesting about you that people don’t know about. I speak Spanish.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully, taller, but I have a feeling that it will be the opposite.
