I gotta admit, reading the horror stories on My Very Worst Date is a guilty pleasure. The site, founded by KoreAm contributor Victoria Namkung and fellow journalist Jessica Ramakrishnan, lets (mostly female) readers spill their most cringe-worthy courtship disasters. Oh, the things we must endure on the quest for love.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the site is on the search for the Very Worst Date in America. Submit your tales. And don’t be shy. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize. The deadline is 12 p.m. EST on Feb. 12.
